EMMA Watson says leaving her Harry Potter alter-ego behind is "liberating."
The 22-year-old actress, best known for playing bookish wizard
Hermione Granger in the fantasy films, has taken her first major
post-Potter role in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, a coming-of-age
drama based on Stephen Chbosky's novel of the same name.
Wearing a black peplum dress and wide-legged trousers by Dior
Couture, she said before a gala screening at London's Mayfair hotel: "It
was challenging. I was very nervous.
"Having played someone who was so restrained and very English to
playing this free-spirited American girl, which was at the other end of
the spectrum for me, it took a while to break down a lot of the barriers
I didn't even realise I had put up for myself.
"So when I did, it felt very liberating. I'm very proud of the film."
Emma also revealed she would be open to returning to the world of Harry Potter.
Author JK Rowling has teased that there could be more from the
wizarding series after revealing she has left "the door ajar" for more
books in the future.
"Of course. I'm open to anything," said the actress. Watson also said she can't wait to read Rowling's first adult novel, The Casual Vacancy, denying she has had a sneak preview.
"Yes, absolutely. I haven't seen it yet," she said. Actors Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller also star in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, which opens in cinemas next Wednesday.

Zone Fam Releases new Single Çontolola''
Zone Fam is the biggest Hip Hop Group in Zambia. The group has four members; Dope G, Jay Rox,Yung Verbal and Thugga. The group was formed in 2007 and is managed by Taurus Musik. In 2011 Zone Fam was nominated for the CHANNEL O “MOST GIFTED NEWCOMER” Award.On Monday 24th September 2012, Taurus Musik will officially release Zone Fam’s latest hit single
Contolola.
Contolola means “control” in Zambia. The song was composed to articulate a principle that Zone Fam live by; “To have control, dominate and influence your surroundings”.
Taurus Musik manages the group and is currently working to release the video for this single. The video was shot in Kenya and features well-known personalities in the industry such as Wyre, Isis. 9Con, and DJ Kaytrixx .

OFFICIAL: P-Square and May D Part Ways! (No Square Records Deal Ever Existed!)

So, it turns out that May D and P-Square have decided to part ways. The news first broke out on social networking site, Twitter, over the weekend but we didn’t take it seriously… till a few hours ago. Here’s the official statement from Square Records below.

“I, JUDE ‘ENGEES’ OKOYE, of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences.

I took an extra effort to reach out to sources close to Square Records who gave me some inside gist on what really happened. Apparently, May D NEVER signed an official contract with Square Records. They only had a verbal agreement. So, when it was time to sign the contract, May D made some demands that Square Records were not willing to meet. For this reason, their relationship dissolved.
It’s really sad things got to this level. Hopefully they can work together again in the future.
So what next for May D?? I hear he might be joining Davido and the HKN Gang soon. He spends most of his time with Davido these days and he’s expected to fly with the HKN crew to the United States for a series of video shoots. ***ssssshhhhh*** Remember where you heard this first!
